If you’re a late 80’s/Early 90’s kid like me you probably loved both My Little Pony and Polly Pocket. Being a kid in the 90’s was freaking rad. And Polly Pockets were IT. I loved collecting the little compacts that you could open up and there would be a whole playset in. For me it was the Swan Lake compact that really brought me in. It was the light up lake really.
Anyway, NOW Polly Pocket is teaming up with My Little Pony and bringing us the compact of our dreams. Dream Castle with some OG ponies! In this set were getting Polly who I’m assuming is meant to be Meagan from the show and we’re getting Firefly and Majesty. These are probably the most well known ponies of the era. Firefly was prominently featured in Battle for Midnight Castle and Majesty if I remember correctly came with the Dream Castle Playset.
This new compact is gorgeous! You get basically all the things that you’d want to see in a pony playset. And if you look closely enough, you can see a sea pony in the lake. Along with the figures and playset you also get a themed MLP comb and a ring that you can put the figures on. I don’t know why they showed Meagan/Polly on the ring as a selling point but I’m not their marketing department. I would absolutely be rocking a pony on the ring before Polly.
