ARVORE and Sony Pictures Entertainment today launched the franchise’s first full-length foray into gaming, The Boys: Trigger Warning. Available now on Meta Quest 3 headsets for $29.99 USD, the stealth action-adventure takes players deep into the underbelly of The Boys universe for a new side story, featuring voice performances by Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke).

ARVORE delivered a final look at the title during the VR Games Showcase on Tuesday, March 24. Jam-packed with pulse-pounding gameplay, the game offers an authentic experience that will satisfy fans of the critically acclaimed TV show. Alongside the launch of the VR title, the fifth and final season of the Emmy Award-winning series The Boys debuts on Wednesday, April 8, with a two-episode premiere, followed by new episodes weekly leading up to the epic series finale on Wednesday, May 20. The fifth season, along with all four previous seasons, will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

“Our team spent the past three years experimenting with different superhero-esque prototypes, and it’s been a dream to see that work evolve into something like The Boys: Trigger Warning,” said Ricardo Justus, Founder and Head of Studio at ARVORE. “The close collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment and the series creators allowed us to develop an experience we believe is only possible in VR. We hope it captures the dark humor that fans know and love, while making them feel like they’re living inside and uncomfortably close to the nightmare that is Vought.”

The Boys: Trigger Warning drops you directly into the gloriously twisted world of The Boys

This time, you’re not watching the chaos, you’re in it: close-up, personal, and dangerously real. Lucas Costa’s life detonates when the Armstrongs, a washed-up but still lethal family of Vought Superheroes, turn a family outing into carnage. The Boys drag Lucas back from the brink, juice him with powers, and throw him headfirst into their filthy underground fight against Vought and its Supes. With Butcher and Mother’s Milk guiding from the shadows, Lucas sets off on a no-mercy hunt to put the Armstrongs in the ground.

Developed alongside the series creators, The Boys: Trigger Warning is rated Mature 17+ for intense violence, blood and gore, sexual themes, partial nudity, use of drugs, and strong language. Wishlists are open on the PlayStation Store, with more details to come at a later date.
