    Robert Rodriguez’s Thriller “Hypnotic” Gets Mind-Bending Trailer

    Filmmaker Robert Rodriguez’s new thriller “Hypnotic” starring Ben Affleck (“Air”) just got its first trailer! “Hypnotic” will follow Austin, TX detective Danny Rourke as he desperately searches for his missing daughter. All while he also investigates a series of reality-bending bank robberies. These cases send him spiraling down a rabbit hole, leading him to question everything and everyone in his world.

    With the aid of Diana Cruz, an unnervingly gifted psychic, Rourke enters into a game of cat and mouse with a lethal specter. While they trade off on who is perusing who, he believes this man holds the key to finding his missing daughter. Only to discover he has found way more than he ever bargained for.

    “Hypnotic”’s ensemble cast includes Affleck, Alice Braga (“The Suicide Squad”) as Diana Cruz, JD Pardo (“Mayans M.C.”) as Nicks/Rourke’s partner, Hala Finley (“Paradise Highway”) as Minnie his missing daughter, Dayo Okeniyi (“Rise”) as River the tech wiz conspiracy theorist, Jeff Fahey (“Lost”) as Carl, Jackie Earle Haley (“Alita: Battle Angel”) as Jeremiah the reclusive expat, and William Fichtner (“The Dark Knight”) as the object of Rourke’s enigmatic pursuit for answers.

    The film is produced by Rodriguez, Mark Gill, Guy Botham, Lisa Ellzey, Jeff Robinov, John Graham, and Racer Max. “Hypnotic” is executive produced by James Portolese, Joshua Throne, Maitreya Yasuda, Crystal Bourbeau, Vincent Bruzzese, Beth Bruckner O’Brien, Peter Touche, Christelle Conan, Gareth West, Chris Milburn, Artur Galstian, Vahan Yepremyan, Walter Josten, Patrick Josten, and Jordan Wagner. Ryan Basford, Court Coursey, and Caylee Cowa will co-executive produce. Solstice Studios, Ingenious Media, and Studio 8 will present the Double R production.
