DoodleJamz: A Great Clean Sensory Toy For All Ages

DoodleJamz is one of the most surprising toys I’ve seen in a while. I know that I had something similar as a kid, but not quite as nice as these. I think mine was from an old As-Seen-On-TV ad. These however are very nice, travel sized and exactly what my kids wanted. Each DoodleJamz has a gel or paint like substance in it so kids can play and not make a mess.

They have a version called Jellypics where you can make hairstyles for an emoji, kind of like Wooly Willy or Hair Do Harriet, only without the magnets. Instead they have gel beads that are really cool to touch and a little plastic knife that you can use to move things around.

This was probably my favorite of the two but if we’re going based on what my kids liked, it came in second to the more free drawing pad. The Jellypad was by far the one that we played with most. I liked that I could make letters on it for my toddler who would try and guess the letter.

You can play with these on the go and they won’t make a mess. The kids can still be creative and my favorite part is that they use their imaginations. That coupled with the cool feeling of squishing the beads in the Jellypics was a big selling point for me.

If you want to get some for yourself they’re available on Amazon right now. You won’t be disappointed!
