It’s no secret that there’s been buzz about Scream 8 already being in the works. We previously reported that Kevin Williamson & Neve Campbell are already talking about “Scream 8.” Since the two launched the Scream franchise 30 years ago, it’s pretty obvious that if they’re talking, we’re getting another movie. Of course the two said that it would happen only if they saw Scream 7 do well at the box office. So now that we have some initial numbers, it’s looking pretty good that we’re going to see Scream 8 sooner than we might have thought.
The Scream franchise has generally performed very well at the box office, with lifetime grosses often exceeding $100 million per film.
