My Little Pony G6 Possibly Leaked at Walmart

Imagine my surprise when scrolling Facebook and I see this beautiful NEW My Little Pony backpack shared. The images were shared in my My Little Pony – G1 Collectors group.

What first caught my eye is that the pony is Moonstone, previously not one that had been in “Friendship is Magic” but one that is instantly recognizable to any pony collector. Originally she was part of the 80s/90s run of ponies. And not to mention she’s gorgeous. Anyway what I’m trying to get at is that this could be a big woopsie on Walmart‘s behalf. Because they may have just LEAKED THE G6 PONY DESIGN.

My Little Pony Generation 6 (G6) was expected to launch around 2026 or 2027. Fans are expecting a complete brand revamp for a 2027 release, although some rumors suggest a 2026 reveal. And pony fans, this is probably it.

What I’m loving is that they’re throwing back majorly to the original pony design with a slightly bigger framed pony. She is also reminiscent of the G3 design which was a little more cutesy. Probably too cutesy for a lot of people (including myself). This version of Moonstone is by far my favorite one, even though it definitely deviates from the classic G1 design.

I also love that the bag in question has other generations in the background. You can see the new design plus the Netflix movie design and a more cartoony version of the Friendship is Magic design.

Whether or not this is an actual G6 pony is up for discussion but I’m leaning towards it. Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll be running to Walmart to grab this bag.
