The chill in the air has many dreaming of a nice, warm summer vacation. Disneyland has announced its event calendar for the 2026 season, which includes After Dark and other annual events. So now it’s no longer daydreaming, it’s “vacation planning.”

First up is Disneyland’s current 70th anniversary celebration, which is going on now through August 9th, 2026. January’s entertainment includes:

    • “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade”
    • “Wondrous Journeys”
    • “Paint the Night” parade
    • Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and pals in 70th Celebration attire at Disneyland park.

    Lunar New Year

From January 23rd to February 22nd, Disney California Adventure Park will celebrate the Lunar New Year. Ringing in the year of the Horse, Horace Horsecollar will take the reins to honor Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and several other Disney favorites will sport outfits inspired by each region.

    Celebrate Gospel

On February 20th-21st and 27th-28th, Disneyland will hold this annual uplifting concert in the Downtown Disney District. Each weekend will be filled with performances by community choirs in Southern California and headliners like Hezekiah Walker (February 21st) and Yolanda Adams (February 28th).

Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival

During March 6th-April 27th, the park will host the Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Guests can expect “limited-time food offerings, beverage seminars, culinary demos, and family-friendly entertainment.”

    “Bluey”

Starting March 22nd and continuing throughout the year, it’s “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” Located at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland, this event celebrates the heart and humor of this beloved series. Throughout the day, Bluey and her sister, Bingo, will appear live on stage alongside other comedic actors and musicians.

This will be an immersive celebration that turns the theater into the grounds of Bluey’s school. These musical acts will blend with games like Keepy Uppy, and interactive adventures inside a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden.

    Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Starting May 22nd, there will be a new mission at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! This will be a brand-new story centered around “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” as a tie in for the upcoming movie.

    Soarin’ Across America

On July 2nd, the Soarin’ attraction will celebrate America’s 250th birthday, with Soarin’ Across America. The new event will showcase some of the country’s natural beauty and unique cityscapes.

    Halloween Time

From August 21st-October 31st, Disneyland Resort will celebrate spooky season. Expect the return of several, currently undisclosed, seasonal attractions, plus a rack of family-friendly entertainment.

    Plaza de la Familia

Between August 21st and November 2nd, Disney California Adventure Park will hold its annual “Coco” inspired celebration. Honoring the everlasting bonds of family and the spirit of Día De Los Muertos.

    The Holidays

Starting November 18th, Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure park will round out the year by celebrating a cavalcade of diverse traditions. These events will feature holiday décor, jolly entertainment, and festive foods.
