In the history of television and film, there is no collection of material that can quite compare to what’s in the archive of The Jim Henson Company. Jim Henson is responsible for bringing the world advanced puppetry and animatronics that still hold up today and remain some of the industries finest creations. Whether we’re talking about The Muppets, “Fraggle Rock,” “Labyrinth,” “The Dark Crystal,” or even the costumes for the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films, it was all Henson and his workshop. Now, for the first time ever, the public will have a chance to own pieces of that history thanks to Julien’s Auctions.

We can only imagine how much material is going to be unearthed and what’s going to wind up on the auction block. Not to mention, given the love that so many people around the world have for Henson’s work, what are these items going to end up going for?
