PJ’s Soaps and Bombs Handcrafted Soap Have Become My New Addiction

I didn’t expect handmade soap could become one of my new obsessions, but PJ’s Soaps & Bombs changed that. After messing with a few bars, Autumn Spice Handcrafted Soap and Fall Harvest Soap hit all the right notes of comfort, scent, texture; and now I can’t go back. Here’s how they pulled me in.

Note: Each of these soaps were used in the shower as well as just for hand washing. I recommend shower use if you want to come out smelling delicious.

Autumn Spice (Aloe Vera, Olive Oil & Goat Milk) immediately feels like walking into a cozy fall cabin. The scent is warm: cinnamon, clove, and orange together without one overpowering the others. It smells seasonal in the best way—spice with brightness. The smell reminded me of my Nana which is something I look for in everything. The smell of the comfort of home and seasonal decorations.

With aloe vera, goat milk, and olive oil, it lathers into a creamy, silky foam that cleans without feeling harsh. After rinsing, skin feels soft, not tight. Also, I noticed moisture staying longer. No itch, no roughness. And I’m unsure if this is a me specific thing, but I did notice that I had to use deodorant LESS after washing with these soaps.

Fall Harvest (Aloe Vera, Olive Oil & Argan Oil) leans more fruity and bright. Its fragrance is cranberries and crisp apples with warm spices; cinnamon, clove, and a sugared sweetness. The scent’s version of “wake up, it’s fall” mixed with “let’s curl up.” Visually, I liked the layered shades—deep autumn red, soft pink, colored top layer with leaf design.

On the skin, Fall Harvest also delivers. It cleans well, the lather is rich without going overboard, and that touch of argan oil makes it feel a bit more luxurious. No residue, no greasy film. My skin felt more pampered after using it. It dries gently, and it seems like the kind of soap you could use daily without needing heavy moisturizer afterward.

What makes both of these bars addictive is how balanced everything is. The craftsmanship is intentional: scents are “real,” not synthetic. Colors and designs that say fall. Textures that combine cleansing and skincare. Also, the ingredients used are all things I look for in a good soap. Free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates; cruelty-free with ethical sourcing.

If I had to pick which one I reach for more, it depends on mood. On slow mornings or evenings when I want comfort or when I’m feeling a little depressed, Autumn Spice wins. On mornings when I need energy or a want a boost, Fall Harvest is perfect. But both are good enough that I find myself wanting both in rotation.

These soaps have become something I look forward to using. They transform a basic wash into a little self-care ritual. If you like fall scents and if you want soap that smells seasonal, these are two bars that are the perfect fit. What’s even better is that after using them, I now have a new favorite soap. And I’ll be a happy returning customer to PJ’s Soaps and Bombs for MANY years to come.
