General Mills Bids Farwell to “Stranger Things” with Snacks

It’s a little hard to fathom it, but it’s been over three years since we last had some new episodes of “Stranger Things.” It seems like just yesterday that Kate Bush‘s “Running up That Hill (Deal with God) was shooting up the charts, Vecna was tearing people apart, and the fate of certain characters was left ambiguously vague. That will all start to come to a close this November when the fifth season of “Stranger Things“ begins. To help you gear up for that, General Mills is bringing some snacks to the table with a new look to celebrate the end of the series.

There’s been a close relationship between “Stranger Things” and food for a bit now. This is, after all, the show that gave us Scoops Ahoy ice cream, Surfer Boy Pizza, and then had them become real life products. And as someone who loved the frozen supreme Surfer Boy Pizza, I as incredibly grateful for that. But what if you want the taste of pizza, but not the whole thing? Totino’s has got you covered with pizza rolls, including the Hellfire Club spicy pepperoni!

What if you’re not in the mood for something spicy? What if you’re not even in the mood for pizza in general? Well, as odd as that situation might be, you’re covered on the fruity side of things with a trio of products. Of course, as you can see above, you’ve got tropical gushers. The chewy fruit snack with a burst of juicy flavor embraces the Christmas lights Will used to try to communicate from the Upside Down back in season one.

If you want to go a bit more exotic, you can go for a mystery flavor version of Fruit by the Foot. Hopefully it doesn’t taste like Mind Flayer, but it is a mystery, so who knows? Clearly inspired by the mysterious happenings that have surrounded the series since its inception, the classic snack meets a new challenge as you try to detect what flavor it actually is. Again, hopefully not Mind Flayer. Unless it turns out Mind Flayer is really tasty.

But if you like fruity flavored snacks and not have them be measured in feet, there’s Fruit Roll-Ups complete with tongue tattoos, a free “Stranger Things” sticker, and a variety of flavors. You’ve got Blue Razzberry, Strawberry Blast, and Tropical Tie-Dye. They’re totally radical and tubular. Or they’re just remarkably flavorful and fun. Ultimately, you’ve got three ways to get your fruit fixation going in a “Stranger Things” kind of way.

Look for the product to hit store shelves soon and act while you can. These products will only be available for a limited time and then, like the show itself, all good things must come to an end. The final season of “Stranger Things” premiers on Netflix on November 26th, 2025.
