    Introduction

In case that your PC is lagging or full of files, then chances are that you need to delete some apps that you are not using or have no use of. Deleting apps from your Windows computer is not only a means to make more free space on your disk — it can also help your computer’s overall performance, lower the load on your CPU, and make your system more secure by getting rid of software that you do not need.

How can I uninstall an app? In this tutorial, we will go through different ways of removing software from the computer, essentially starting with a rapid and comprehensive way of using the uninstallation tool — IPC Master Uninstaller — and then continuing with other inbuilt Windows methods. You will find a method that fits your style if you are an absolute newcomer or an experienced PC user.

Method 1: Uninstall apps using Master Uninstaller

Master Uninstaller is a powerful yet compact utility for Windows that is designed to help users remove applications in a simple, fast, and complete way. It basically removes the unneeded application and its leftovers – files, folders, and registry entries, thus, it is going beyond the service of the standard uninstall process of Windows.

So, if you want to remove the software that is proving difficult to uninstall, Master Uninstaller for Windows will make sure your PC is free from unwanted stuff and is running at its best speed.

    Key features

    • 1-click uninstallation – With just one click, get rid of the programs in a fast manner.
    • Smart uninstall & control – Discover all the software that is installed on your computer, including pre-installed apps and services, and manage them.
    • Comprehensive residual cleaning – Make sure to remove all of the leftover files, folders, and registry entries.
    • Efficient space optimizer – Locate large files and folders or seldom-used programs and remove them to gain back disk space.
    • Batch removal support – Get rid of more than one app simultaneously.
    • Modern, user-friendly interface – Apart from the attractive design, you also get free technical support.

Step 1: Download & Install Master Uninstaller

Visit the Master Uninstaller official website and get the most recent version. Once you have completed the downloading process, launch the installer and follow the instructions.

Step 2. Locate and choose the program

Open Master Uninstaller and go to All Programs on the left-hand side. You should find a complete list of installed software. Find the application that you want to force uninstall, choose it, and then hit Uninstall.

    Step 3. Finish the uninstallation

Master Uninstaller initiates the procedure of removing the software from your system by deleting all the associated files and Registry entries to ensure that the program is uninstalled thoroughly. Please wait for some time as the un-installation is completed.

Method 2: Uninstall apps from the Windows Settings

Typically, the Settings application in the Windows operating system is perceived by most users as a simple and native means of deleting the programs. In just a few clicks, it is perfect for eliminating both Microsoft store applications and third party programs. Though its tool is not methodically detailed as specialized uninstallers, still it remains a good and reliable choice when it comes to the removal of basic apps.

Step 1: Press Windows + I to open the Settings app. Navigate to Apps and then Installed apps. Find the app you want to remove.

Step 2: Click the three dots and choose Uninstall.

Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Method 3: Uninstall apps via Control Panel

The Control Panel is a customary Windows tool with a long history that has pretty much always been the go-to option for removing classic desktop apps. There are several apps, especially the old ones, that are hidden in the new Settings app but, still, you can remove them from the Control Panel. Moreover, if you want the uninstallation process to be more manual, certain software uninstallers may provide you with additional cleaning functionalities via the Control Panel.

Step 1: Press Windows + R, type control, and hit Enter.

Step 2: Go to Programs > Programs and Features.

Step 3: Scroll through the list and select the program you want to uninstall.

Step 4: Click Uninstall at the top.

Step 5: Follow the uninstallation wizard to finish.

    Method 4: Use the app’s built-in uninstaller

Several applications provide separate uninstallers as part of their package. By using this feature, you can uninstall the application, which in some cases, may be able to prevent errors and file issues while the process is going on.

Step 1: Go to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) and find the app folder.

Step 2: Look for a file named uninstall.exe or similar.

Step 3: Double-click it to launch the uninstaller. Follow the prompts to remove the app. Restart your PC if prompted.

    Conclusion

If you want to keep your computer running fast, have free space on your storage, and still make sure that your system is well organized, then it is necessary that you uninstall programs. Although Windows has built-in methods to uninstall applications, these methods usually leave some residue.

This is the point that Master Uninstaller is different — providing a complete one-click solution that eradicates every trace of unwanted software. Whether you want to perform a quick uninstall using the Settings or you want to use an advanced cleanup tool, the main thing is to select the right method according to your needs. For the most complete results and the easiest administration, Master Uninstaller would be a really good option to keep your Windows PC working well and effectively.
