I Asked an AI to Write a Poem About Love – It Surprised Me

Some emotions are too delicate to put into words. Especially when it comes to love. Because you are not sure how the other person will react.

That’s exactly what I felt during my two-year Master’s program, because I liked someone. A lot.

But I never had the courage to say anything. We were friends, talked often, but I kept my feelings to myself. Never even gave a hint. I waited for the perfect moment and words to express my feelings.

And I finally did. She is my fiancée now. In this article, I will tell you how I did it and how the AI poem generator free helped me in this.

    My silent love story

She was a Japanese exchange student. From the moment she introduced herself in class, I felt something special about her.

We became friends naturally. We worked on assignments, shared coffee breaks, and occasionally talked about literature. She loved poetry, and I loved listening to her.

But even as our friendship grew, I never found the courage to say what I truly felt. I thought I’d ruin everything.

Two years passed like a beautiful blur. Only two months were left in our convocation. I feared that she might go back to Japan. I might never see her again.

That’s when I knew I had to say it. And since she loved poetry, I decided to write her one.

I asked an AI to write a poem about love – It surprised me

I tried writing the poem manually for 45 days, but was still not satisfied with the results. I didn’t want to use AI. It felt like cheating. I never thought a content generator tool could mimic the emotions I had carried silently for two years.

But as our convocation got closer, I started to panic. I didn’t want to let her leave without telling her how I felt.

So, I finally opened an AI poem writer.

    The poem that surprised me

As I opened the tool, it seemed very simple and easy to use. It had all the settings for length, language, and creativity. Plus, it offered a lot of poetic moods, such as romantic, sad, friendship, inspirational, and funny.

I wanted a romantic poem, so I chose that. Then I typed in a few phrases that described my feelings about our quiet moments, the unspoken love, and the fear of losing her.

    I hit “Generate.”

The results truly surprised me. It captured my feelings, the hesitation, the admiration, the longing; everything. I was so surprised that I read it over and over, wondering how algorithms could understand something so deeply.

Therefore, I read the description of the poem generator. I found that it is trained on natural language processing (NLP) technology that helps it understand the context and core meanings behind our sentences.

It matches our words and emotions with the data in its databases and creates something new with that understanding.

Now I had some confidence that I could propose to her.

    Planning the proposal with poetry

Over the next few days, I created many poems using different prompts. Some were about friendship turning into love. Some focused on the silence between us. Others with the fear of losing her.

Every time I generated a new poem, I picked out lines that mimicked my feelings. Little by little, I stitched together verses that reflected exactly how I had felt for the past two years.

Once the final version was ready, I read it over and over to memorize every word. Then, I bought a ring. Not a flashy one. Just something simple and elegant like her.

    But something was still missing.

Adding a touch of her culture – A Haiku

Even after finalizing everything, I felt something was still missing. I wanted something that feels personal to her.

As she was very fond of her culture, I decided to give a Japanese touch to the proposal.

So I thought, Why not write a Haiku for her?

A simple three-line poem, rooted in her culture. Something that would show her that I respect her values.

I went back to the AI poem maker. This time, I selected the haiku generator and switched the language to Japanese. I typed in my prompt explaining that I need it to propose to a girl I love for two years.

The AI gave me a short, beautiful Haiku that felt just right.

I double-checked the translation and pronunciation with the Free ChatGPT, just to make sure I’d say it correctly. It is a tool by paragraph-generator.com that offers unlimited GPT-4o for free.

Now I had two poems. One in my language, and one in hers.

And somehow, that was feeling complete.

AI poem writer helped me say what I couldn’t

Reading the final poems, I knew I had found the words I had been searching for all along. Not because of AI, but because they felt like me.

I was so confident and happy with them that I didn’t even hesitate to propose to her in front of our entire class. My hands were shaking. But somehow, the moment felt right.

Everybody was cheering us. But she was hesitant.

She stood there for a while, unsure of what to say. Then she quietly told me she had to ask her parents first. That one moment felt like hours.

But after a short call in Japanese, she came back smiling with tears in her eyes. And said “Yes”.

Now, she’s my fiancée. And we’re planning to get married in Japan soon.

A free AI tool changed my life.

    Conclusion

Looking back, I often wonder if I could have done it without aipoem-generator.com. Maybe not.

I had all the feelings bottled up inside me for two whole years. But every time I tried to express them, the words fell short.

The poem writer didn’t replace my emotions. It simply helped me shape them into something beautiful and honest.

Technology often gets criticized for lacking heart. But when used right, it can help us show our heart in ways we never imagined.

So if you are struggling to say something that truly matters. It’s okay to let a little tech help. Because love deserves to be heard.
