Since it was announced, filmmaker/co-head of DC Studios James Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” movie has been the talk of the town. Actor David Corenswet (“Twisters”) will be playing the Man of Steel, but it turns out his passions go beyond comic books. The actor is also a massive fan of the “Star Wars” universe.

He can even recite full scenes from “Star Wars: Episode I- A New Hope” from memory.

Don’t believe us? Well, here he is driving along and acting out the destruction of the Death Star, complete with laser sound effects. Because what is “A New Hope” recreation without the sound of TIE fighters firing their blasters? Nothing, that’s what.

You can catch Corenswet in “Superman” when it hits theaters on July 11th, 2025.
