    During one lunch break, my friends and I were discussing Sci-Fi movies because one of my friends had recently watched “Things Will Be Different.” The excitement and level of enthusiasm were the answers to all my questions. Sci-fi movies make us dream beyond limits and create curiosity about what’s going to happen next. But what makes the sci-fi genre stand out from other genres?

    Here is the answer—Sci-fi is a perfect blend of story-telling, innovative concepts, and unforgettable characters that last long in our minds. As we kept chatting, the conversation shifted from movies to TV shows. And then I had one of those “Duh.” moments’ Sci-fi TV shows take the same enthusiasm and curiosity that we love in films, stretch it across episodes, seasons, and sometimes entire universes, and let you get deeply invested into characters, explore complex worlds, and watch the story unfold over time.
