Filmmaker Sam Raimi will be making his return to horror with “Sed Help.” Oscar-nominee Rachel McAdams (“Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret”) is in talks to star in the upcoming horror-thriller from 20th Century Studios. The pair previously worked together on Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

We should say negotiations for this upcoming project are still in the early stages and nothing is concrete yet.

    “Send Help”

“Send Help” will reportedly center around two people on an island. The story will be somewhere between Rob Reiner’s adaptation of Stephen King’s “Misery,” and Robert Zemeckis’ 2000 film “Cast Away.” So, isolating.

“Send Help” will be directed and produced by Raimi from a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The duo previously penned 2003’s “Freddy vs. Jason,” 2009’s “Friday the 13th,” and 2017’s “Baywatch” movie. Zainab Azizi will work as a producer under the Raimi Productions banner.

While “Send Help” is expected to get a theatrical release, one has not been set yet. We’ll keep you posted on updates about this project as it develops.
