11 People Walked Out of “Terrifier 3” UK Premiere

Horror and shocking scenes go together like peanut butter and jelly, but it seems the Damien Leone-directed “Terrifier 3” was a bit too much for some. At least 11 people walked out of the film’s UK premier; 9 left during the graphic 10-minute opening sequence.

One viewer vomited before the title card even hit the screen.

During “last night’s screening, there were 11 total walkouts, nine during the opening scene, and that there was one fan confirmed to have puked,” “Terrifier 3”’s PR team told LADbible.

“Although I was in and out of the screening, I did manage to witness some crazy stuff,” Leone told Bloody Disgusting. “One woman got up and left in the middle of the shower massacre. Another woman left the screening and said she started having a panic attack during a scene involving kids where Art impersonates a mall Santa.”

    The “Terrifier” Franchise

The first two “Terrifier” films were indie productions centered around the killing machine, Art The Clown. Leone partnered with Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse for the third installment. After the director realized that no studio would make the film.  “I knew they weren’t going to let me make this movie based on the first five pages. Like, that’s how insane Terrifier 3 is,” Leone told JoBlo.

The franchise already has a reputation for bizarre, over-the-top, kills, and the third promises to crank that to 11.

“Terrifier 3” hits US theaters October 11th. You can check out the trailer below:
