Can you believe it has been 40 years since “The NeverEnding Story” was released? And now that we’ve all applied for AARP, we can enjoy this lovely re-release of the movie courtesy of Imprint Films.
Imprint’s release will be a limited edition 5-disc set in replica storybook packaging. The book is crafted with high-quality leatherette, and decorated with the Auryn emblem, die-cast metallic ornamentation, red and white ribbons, gold-foiled stamping, and embossed detailing just like the film. The company even went the extra mile and magnetically sealed it to ensure it stays closed.
Physical Extras
As cool as the packaging is, Imprint didn’t stop there. This release comes complete with:
- An A4 reproduction of the original 1984 Press Kit.
- A full-color matte laminated 27″ x 40″ folded print of the original poster.
- Reprints of the original eight lobby cards on 11″ x 14″ cardstock, with glossy display folder.
- A 3D Lenticular Hardcase housing all five discs.
Extras
This set contains restored versions of both the Original US Theatrical and German Extended Cuts for the first time on 4K UHD and Blu-ray. But what’s a limited edition collector’s set without bonus material?
