Target has LED Stomp Rockets for Those Hot Summer Nights

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids that includes going outside this summer, we found something for you! Target is carrying LED-lit Stomp Rockets that are perfect for taking out in the backyard and letting the kids shoot them up into the sky. This is great for the summer nights that follow the days that are just too hot for the kids to play outside.

Not only is this toy great for play, but it’s a fun science lesson too. Since this toy is launched with pneumatic pressure you could explain to the kids about the process from the stomp to the launch. The launch of a compressed air rocket proceeds in three stages; the pressurization of the body tube, the initial acceleration along the launch tube, and the expulsion of the compressed air from the rear of the rocket. These three stages provide the thrust necessary to send your rocket flying!

This toy is also great because it has an auto shut off feature for the LEDs After 30 seconds they will turn off which is great for the battery life. You can buy these in-store or online via Target’s website here.
