    Sir Ian McKellen Rushed to Hospital After Falling Off Stage

    Sir Ian McKellen has been rushed to the hospital.

    Reportedly, the actor lost his footing while performing a fight scene in Player Kings, which he is currently starring in at the Noël Coward Theatre in London. McKellen apparently fell from the stage, but it’s unclear if he suffered any injuries.

    He was rushed to a local hospital.

    “Thank you to our audience and the general public for their well wishes following Ian’s fall during this evening’s performance of Player Kings,” a statement from McKellen’s rep said. “Following a scan, the brilliant NHS team have assured us that he will make a speedy and full recovery and Ian is in good spirits. Thank you to doctors Rachel and Lee who were on hand in the audience and to all the venue staff for their support.”
