Fast food chain Arby’s is known for having the meats, viral marketing campaigns, and their signature horsey sauce. In honor of Derby Season, the company is launching a limited-edition Chardonneigh’s Horsey Sauce. It will be a crisp, tantalizing twist on Arby’s classic sauce, subtly infused with Chardonnay flavoring.

The goal here is to elevate this beloved condiment into something truly extraordinary. Kinda like how they did the curly fry vodka.

It is “a sophisticated take on the creamy, flavorful essence of Arby’s iconic Horsey Sauce,” according to a press release. “Crafted to complement a variety of dishes, this limited-edition sauce delivers a perfect balance of mildness and boldness to appeal to the adventurous palate of the connoisseur.” This balance makes it the perfect topping for both cowboys and city girls alike.

    Inspiration

“Arby’s Horsey Sauce has always been a guest favorite,” said Ellen Rose, Arby’s Chief Marketing Officer. “And we know the old adage of not messing with perfection, but in this case, we couldn’t help ourselves. We have been inspired by the recent rise in chic cowboy culture and wanted to launch something that embodies it. The Limited Edition Chardonneigh’s Horsey Sauce is just another example of Arby’s engaging with its fans through fun and unexpected surprises.”

Chardonneigh’s Horsey Sauce will come in a frosted glass wine bottle inspired by the majestic beauty of Lipizzaner white horses. The bottle’s embossed labeling features the silhouette of one of these horses, mid-gallop.

Arby’s has not given a release date for this new sauce just yet. But it will retail for $16 a bottle and customers can sign up for updates here.
