New World Record Set With 228 Jump Rope Jumps in 30 Seconds

In a video published by New China TV, viewers got to witness a world record being shattered. This feat was accomplished by none other than Cen Xiaolin. A seasoned jump rope champion, Xiaolin managed to obliterate his own previous record from 8 years ago, an achievement in itself that had made headlines worldwide.

In his recent attempt, Xiaolin didn’t merely surpass his prior accomplishment; he almost DOUBLED the quantity of his jumps. This extraordinary feat was executed with a unique blend of precision, speed, and agility that is hard to match. He set a new world speed record by performing a jaw-dropping 228 jumps in a time span of just 30 seconds. To put this in perspective, the man was jumping at an astounding rate of 7.6 jumps per second, a speed that seems almost unbelievable.

What added an extra layer of complexity to Xiaolin’s feat was the technique he used. The jumps were done with alternate feet hitting the ground, making it seem like he was taking steps. This method added an added challenge as it required not only physical strength but also exceptional coordination and balance.

Knowing how energy-draining his training must be, I wonder how many calories he burns during his typical training sessions. It wouldn’t be that hard to believe it’s probably in the high hundreds, if not more. In simpler terms, let’s consider a regular person doing 1,000 jumps using a rope done within a span of 10 minutes typically burns around 170 calories. Now, putting into account how much Xiaolin trains, it’s easy to imagine just how much more he needs to eat to maintain his limber figure.
