    “Dune: Awakening” MMO Trailer Looks Tailor-Made for Fedaykin

    Okay, yes- this may or not be the third “Dune” related thing we’ve written about today. Not only is the world of Frank Herbert one of our favorite sci-fi fandoms out there, but we are smack-dab in the second coming. No literally, because Denis Villenueve‘s “Dune: Part Two” officially hit theaters over the weekend, and we are firmly in the Duneaisannce.

    Which brings us to the brand-new trailer for Funcom’s upcoming MMO set on the desert planet of Arrakis.

    Described as a “rise from survival to dominance on the most dangerous planet in the universe,” the game combines the grit and creativity of sandbox survival games with the social interactivity of a large, persistent multiplayer game to create a unique and ambitious Open World Survival MMO.

    It’s currently available to wishlist on Steam. An open beta is running now, but we don’t have a release date yet. Check out the new trailer below:
