    “TRON: Ares” Director Shares Promising Production Update

    A third “Tron” film is FINALLY on the grid [horizon], and we have a pretty promising update. Director Joachim Ronning (“Pirates of the Caribbean“) is helming “Tron: Ares,” which will star Jared Leto (who is also producing), Cameron Monaghan (“Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Survivor”), Evan Peters, Greta Lee (“Past Lives“), and Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen and Slim”).

    Ronning actually posted a photo of a table read, which happened earlier today!

    “WE ARE BACK! And I’m so happy to see you all made it through the break,” the post reads. “Thank you for riding it out. I can’t wait to start shooting a movie with you guys! Tronwards! ??? #hod“

    At present, the film has no likely release date. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
