Get your sweatshirts ready, Eminem is now selling jars of Mom’s Spaghetti Pasta Sauce from his restaurant! That’s right, music fans and the chronically online will no longer have to venture to Detroit to try the rapper’s sauce.

The journey of the often controversial rapper selling tomato-based treats starts back in 2002 with his semi-autobiographical film “8 Mile.” The movie’s soundtrack also included the smash hit “Lose Yourself.” The tune is a look at what being a musician trying to break into the business is like, it also contains the darkly comedic lyrics “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”

A line that the internet over the past 20 years has turned into a meme. Since Eminem has a sense of humor about his work, he decided to embrace his connection with spaggetti. In 2021 the musician opened the brick-and-mortar Mom’s Spaghetti Diner in his hometown of Detroit, after test runs with a handful of successful pop-ups. He even donated cups of the dish to Michigan healthcare workers during the pandemic.

Now the restaurant’s famous sauce is available in 25-ounce jars that can be shipped nationwide.

“Get your sweaters ready for some tasty s’ghetti sauce,” reads the product description “For the most legitimate Mom’s Spaghetti pasta, pull some pre-cooked spaghetti from the fridge and reheat in a frying pan while adding your Mom’s Spaghetti sauce … It’s ready when the noodles have a bit of a snap and the sauce is heated to taste … That’s how you get a great leftover taste the first time around! Add powdered parm and serve with some Texas toast with garlic butter for s’ghetti like we serve it up on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit.”

The sauce and restaurant were created in a partnership between Eminem, his manager Paul Rosenberg, and the Detroit-based restaurant group Union Joints.

You can get your jar of Mom’s Spaghetti Pasta Sauce here, just in time for sweater weather.
