Major Reasons Why Players Create LOL Smurf Accounts

LOL Smurf accounts have become more prevalent in recent days. With the rise of cyber bullying, many players are afraid to join a game and play under their own name for fear of being targeted. And for those players who do create an account and start playing, they’ll often create a new one as soon as they feel threatened by someone else in-game. But why? What causes these accounts to be created in the first place? Here we talk about some of the most common reasons why players make these unranked LOL Smurf account:

    1. Practice and Experimentation

One of the primary reasons players create smurf accounts is to practice new champions or strategies without the fear of losing their main account’s ranking. In LoL, climbing the ranked ladder can be a challenging task, and a loss can result in a drop in ranking. Smurf accounts allow players to experiment with different champions, roles, or playstyles without the pressure of harming their main account’s competitive standing.

    1. Playing with Friends

Not all players are at the same skill level, and this can make playing with friends challenging. LoL smurf accounts are an opportunity for higher-ranked players to team up with their lower-ranked friends without causing matchmaking issues or creating unfair matches. This allows for a more enjoyable and balanced gaming experience for everyone involved.

    1. Escape from Elo Hell

Elo hell is a term used to describe a situation where players feel trapped in a particular skill bracket due to frequent losses or uncooperative teammates. Creating a smurf account offers these players a fresh start, where they can recalibrate their ranking from scratch. It’s a chance to escape the frustration of being stuck in lower divisions and rekindle their competitive spirit.

    1. Avoiding Queue Time

At the highest ranks of LoL, queue times can become quite lengthy as players wait for suitable opponents. Smurf accounts provide an alternative to avoid these long queues, allowing high-ranked players to get into games more quickly. This is particularly appealing to streamers and professional players who want to keep their viewers engaged.

    1. Mastering New Roles

In LoL, mastering multiple roles is essential for versatility and adaptability. Smurf accounts enable players to focus on learning and perfecting roles they may not have played much on their main account. This allows for a more well-rounded skill set and can be especially valuable when filling roles in a team.
