Mountain Dew Voo-Dew Coming Back With New Flavors

Moutain Dew is bringing back the Voo-Dew flavor in a spooky way. The newest mystery edition was shared to the Moutain Dew X account. Along with a remix of a creepy child tune used for everyone’s favorite nightmare slasher, there’s an interesting hand. The hand has metal straws instead of the iconic razors, and the hand is seen coming from the iconic stripped sweater.

This year’s Voo-Dew flavor is rumored to be partnered with a “top candy brand,” so we’re interested. Mountain Dew’s X account bio says the drink is back with a “SCAIRY” new flavor, and that is the only clue so far. Also the marketing ad is perfect, a knockoff Freddy Kruger with straws is hilarious. These mystery flavors tend to be candy related, with the the first edition in 2019 being candy corn.

The spooky flavor is hitting shelves a little early this year, we won’t judge though. It’s never too early to get ready for Halloween. Though the ad does bring up a few questions, we just have to ask. Does Freddy drink Mountain Dew? Does he have a favorite flavor? Do any of the iconic slashers drink Mountain Dew?

Last year’s Voo-Dew was a sour candy, with the two years before that being themed around fruit candies. This year’s pink and blue bottle design has our minds thinking about the possible flavor. Maybe it’s cotton candy?

Mountain Dew Voo-Dew is available at select stores nationwide, get yourself a bottle and determine the mystery flavor.
