More so than incremental backups, differential backups need more storage space and time to complete, but less than full backups.

A mirror backup is the same as a complete backup in every way. A seller of backup software, writes on their site that “this backup type creates an exact copy of the source data set, but only the latest data version is stored in the backup repository with no track of different versions of the files.” Thus, the backup is a replica of the original data. Each type of file is backed up in its own location, just as it would be in the original location.
