For years, the “Tunnel of Terror” haunted car wash at the Big Wave Express in Anaheim, California has provided seasonal thrills to its patrons. In 2023, these haunters have expand their spooky empire to a second location in Lakewood for Halloween!
Plenty of horror movies and stories utilize dangers hidden in mists, fog, and rain. So naturally, some creative haunters decided to bring the idea to the car wash by creating a haunted house in one. During select nights in October, you can buy a ticket to get your car washed while being creeped out by a gaggle of ghoulies.
“The Tunnel of Terror is a carefully curated experience, with scary and creepy performers popping up throughout the wash, and special effects providing a terrifying ambiance,” explains the team behind this Tunnel. “Participants can also expect unique surprises each night!”
Since the event in Anaheim sold out last year, the crew has decided to add another event in Lakewood. Allowing more motorists to get their fright on this spooky season. Prices start at $30 per car, tickets are currently available for both locations on the Haunted Car Wash’s website.
