Universal Studios Hollywood has fully revealed their annual Halloween Horror Nights haunted house line-up. This year’s themed houses include “Evil Dead Rise,” “The Last of Us,” “Stranger Things“, and more. Several original concepts are also part of the Halloween event.
Anyone brave enough to visit Universal Studios Hollywood during the special nights will have 8 official houses to explore. “Evil Dead Rise” and “The Exorcist: Believer” will sure draw on moments from the movies. “The Last of Us” will focus more on moments from the game. “Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” is completely based on the TV series, instead of the 7 film franchise. Original concept “Holidayz in Hell,” and “Monstruos: The Monsters of Latin America” will bring interesting new frights.
“The Last of Us” engrosses guests in a struggle to survive against fearsome Clickers, Bloaters, and more from Naughty Dog and PlayStation’s award-winning video game.
“Stranger Things 4” transports guests to Hawkins, Indiana where they will face off against the evil Vecna in the fourth season of Netflix’s original series.
“The Exorcist: Believer” invites visitors into a terrifying new beginning in horror, as two families battle a sinister demonic force that has possessed their young daughters.
“Universal Monsters: Unmasked” expands on the Universal Monsters legacy with horror icons The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Phantom of the Opera and The Hunchback of Notre Dame coming together for the first time ever in a chilling new story.
“Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count” features the infamous slasher doll and his best kills throughout the hit USA & SYFY series and cult classic films.
“Evil Dead Rise” brings guests to a new twisted tale, based on New Line Cinema’s return to the iconic horror franchise and 2023 box office hit.
Special spooky-themed food, drinks, and merchandise will be available for purchase throughout the park. Even the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will have Death Eaters roaming the area. Voldemort’s followers will surely be looking for new recruits to join their evil cause. And of course Universal’s Monsters will be joining the festivities again this year. The haunted house will feature Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Phantom of the Opera, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the Invisible Man.
This year’s Halloween Horror Nights sounds like it is going the extra mile. It is curious that the two resorts have two different set-ups for the event. The Orlando resort has confirmed 10 houses and their 5 scare zones, while the Hollywood park has only confirmed its houses. Both parks sound like they will be full of terror-filled fun.
Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights will be operating on select nights from September 7th through October 31st. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here, or at the park.
