    Sir Kenneth Branagh to Direct Live-Action “Gargoyles” Movie

    Oscar winner Sir Kenneth Branagh is reportedly working on a live-action film adaptation of Disney’s amazing “Gargoyles” series.

    According to the Belfast Telegraph (Branagh’s hometown paper), the project is currently in some…form of development, but no real details were given.

    We HAD heard Oscar winner Jordan Peele had been interested in (and possibly working on) an adaptation, but it was unclear if it was an animated reimagining or a live-action take.

    All seasons of “Gargoyles” are currently streaming on Disney+.

    Obviously, we’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.

    UPDATE-

    Series creator Greg Weisman has since cast some doubt on the news, saying it’s “flat-out not true.”
