Jonathan Majors “Entirely Innocent” Defense Attorney Claims

Marvel Studios star Jonathan Majors was arrested earlier this weekend. He was held and charged with strangulation, assault, and harassment. This stems from a report filed by a 33-year-old female, who sources say may or may not be Majors’ girlfriend. He was taken into custody on March 25th by the NYDP.

Criminal defense lawyer Priya Chaudhry claims Majors is “entirely innocent” in a statement. “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”

Chaudhry says video footage “from the vehicle where the alleged incident took place, as well as witness testimony from the driver and onlookers, and two written statements from the woman recanting the allegations” are being examined, and will prove Majors’ innocence.

“All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is entirely innocent and did not assault her whatsoever,” Chaudhry said. “Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon.”
