The good folks at Reynolds brought us candied hams for Easter last year. Like, literal recipes for ham covered in various classic holiday candies. Having satisfied ham lovers with sweet tooths, it’s time to go after the hotheads.
For 2023, the company has launched three different hot ham recipes. All three are inspired by America’s love of adding an extra kick to their favorite foods. These hams want to put your tastebuds to the test with their rich, deliciously spicy, flavors.
The new recipes include:
- Hot Honey Ham – is a honey glazed ham with red pepper flakes and topped with candied jalapenos. Giving this sweet and savory easter staple a bit of a kick.
- Habanero Chipotle Ham – as you may have guessed, this ham uses a mix of habanero and roasted chipotle peppers. The chipotle really helps accent the piquant punch of the of the often overlooked habanero.
- Buffalo Ham – this one uses buffalo sauce along with blue cheese crumbles and celery. Like a mock chicken wing but with pork instead of poultry. The dish is sure to be a hot and tangy centerpiece to your holiday celebration, or just any time!
