Comedians (and real life BFFs) Amy Poehler and Tina Fey recently announced their first live comedy tour. The Tina Fey & Amy Poehler: Restless Leg Tour will hit four U.S. cities this spring, with tickets going on sale this week. The show promises to celebrate the pair’s 30 years of friendship “with an evening of jokes, iconic stories and conversational entertainment.”

    Stops will include:

    • April 28th, DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C.
    • May 20th, The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL
    • June 9th, MGM Hall at Fenway in Boston, MA
    • June 10th, Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City, NJ

While this is their first time touring together it is far from the duo’s first team-up.  Fey and Poehler met in the Chicago improv scene in the 1990s. They were both hired on to NBC’s legendary “Saturday Night Live.” Where they eventually became the first female co-anchors of the show’s staple “Weekend Update” segment.

They have been seen on the big screen together in “Mean Girls,” “Baby Mama,” “Sisters,” and “Wine Country.” As well as Fey and Poehler hosting the Golden Globes together on four different occasions. While both have clearly had their individual successes with shows like Fey’s “30 Rock” and Poehler in “Parks and Recreation,” their comedic styles and personalities have always seemed to pull them back together.

“Tina and I have big news we want to share with you: We are headed out on tour. Join us for the Restless Leg Tour, coming to your city soon,” Poehler says in the tour’s announcement video. “It’s gonna be an evening of comedy, conversation improv, maybe a little slow-dancing between us… we don’t know yet! But it’s gonna be awesome,” Fey adds. “If this tour goes right, we can finally end this friendship,” Poehler and Fey later joked in a joint statement.

Get tickets for the Restless Leg Tour with presale code RESTLESS on February 15th at 10am via Ticketmaster. General sales will begin Friday, February 17 at 10am.
