We are delighted to share the news that Netflix has renewed “Wednesday” for a second season! The series, which sees the iconic morbid daughter of “The Addams Family” at a special boarding school, has become the third-highest watched series of all time for the streaming service. (It’s only behind “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game” in numbers)

“It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world,” showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said in a statement. “[We’re] thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two. We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”
Season 1 of “Wednesday” from creator Tim Burton is currently streaming on Netflix.
