We are so very sorry to report that Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane has passed away. Coltrane was arguably best known for his role as Rubeus Hagrid in the “Harry Potter” franchise. He also appeared in Pierce Brosnan‘s James Bond films, starting with “Goldeneye.”
With a career spanning decades across screens big and small, we last saw Coltrane in the Warner Bros. Pictures “Harry Potter” reunion special. Fan concern about his health was almost immediate.
He was 72.

Though she be but little, she is fierce.
