TMZ reported that “Gangsta’s Paradise” Artist Coolio has passed away.
He was visiting a friend on Wednesday in Los Angeles. He was last seen headed to the bathroom. When he didn’t come out after a while his friend Jarez went to go check on him. It was then when he was found dead laying on the bathroom floor.
At this time it is unknown what the cause of death was. Paramedics suspect cardiac arrest.
He was an iconic rapper that grew to fame in the 1990’s with Gangsta’s Paradise which remained number one on the billboard charts for three weeks straight. It’s still a great song and was recently used in the “Sonic the Hedgehog 2″ movie trailer. He will definitely be missed.
