SYFY’s “Chucky” Season 2 Teases Return of Glen/Glenda

Killer doll fans rejoice, your favorite Good Guy is back! “Chucky” season 2 is coming to SYFY!

“After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in Season 1, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany, now his sworn enemy,” the plot description reads. “Meanwhile, can ‘Jevon’ make it as a couple in the face of adversity at their new Catholic school, not to mention a brand-new onslaught of terror from the demon doll?”

But it shouldn’t be too hard to draw fans back in because they are already teasing the return of Glen/Glenda. As some may remember Glen/Glenda is Chucky and Tiffany’s gender-fluid child, who has not been seen since “Seed of Chucky.”

“Chucky” fans are also buzzing about actor Devon Sawa’s (“Final Destination”) unexpected return to the show since he will no longer be portraying twin brothers, Logan and Lucas Wheeler. Instead, he will be playing a brand new, so far, undisclosed character. From the posted clips, it looks like he will be a priest, which potentially helps the kids fight against Chucky.

Season 2 will also star Meg Tilly (“Body Snatchers”), Gina Gershon (“Bound”), Joe Pantoliano (“Hide and Seek”), Tony Nappo (“Saw II, IV, and, V”), and Sutton Stracke (“Real Housewives”). With Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Christine Elise, Barbara Alyn Woods, Brad Dourif, and Jennifer Tilly all reprising their roles from the first season of “Chucky.” Lara Jean Chorostecki (“Hannibal” the TV series) will also be returning but like Sawa, it is currently for an undisclosed role.

Catch “Chucky” season 2 on the SYFY channel and USA Network starting October 5th, 2022.
