Christopher Meloni (Barely) Hides His Unit in New Peloton Ad

If a (nearly) nude Christopher Meloni can’t motivate you to join Peloton, we aren’t quite sure what will. The brand which initially gained fame through their at home bikes and subscription classes, is no stranger to being in the cultural zeitgeist (for good and bad reasons). They’ve been on quite a roller coaster of commercials – from the 2019 commercial featuring a woman possibly trapped in a horror story. To the Ryan Reynolds-produced, Chris Noth-starring “And Just Like That”  response one. (That one was pulled quickly due to Noth being accused of sexual assault.) Now Peloton is proving they aren’t afraid of … pants(?) in their latest ad.

Christopher Meloni in a side plank in the Peloton Ad.

It features “Law and Order: SVU” star Meloni, and a WHOLE lotta Meloni. The actor, who of late has been reprising his role as Elliot Stabler in “Law and Order: Organized Crime” shows off quite the physique. Meloni, who is 61, demonstrates the variety of ways the Peloton app can be used. All while baring almost all. Sadly for most of us, there are pixels covering his most special parts.

Meloni isn’t the only “Law and Order” actor to be heard in the spot. It features Steve Zirnkilton who is the voice of all of the openings of the franchise provides the voiceover for the commercial. That’s some true dedication to getting it right, right there. He can be heard saying “In the Peloton community, users are represented by two separate, yet equally motivated groups. Those who wear pants … and Christopher Meloni.”

Chris is probably best known for his “Law and Order” work, but has also starred in “Wet Hot American Summer”, “Happy” and a bevy of voice work. Now we can add this to the list of roles that left a favorable impression.
