SHOUT! Factory’s horror branch Scream Factory has announced new 4K UHD editions of “Army of Darkness.” This new release of director Sam Raimi’s 1992 camp classic starring Bruce Campbell will have several editions to pick from.

There will be a 4 disc collector’s edition set, extras still to be determined. Scream Factory is also offering an exclusive 18″ X 24″ rolled poster, featuring the original theatrical artwork. (But these will only be available while supplies last, and if you order directly from Shout Factory.)

There is also a limited edition steelbook version. Which also comes with an exclusive 28.5″ x 16.5 rolled poster featuring the newly designed steelbook artwork. Again this is only available if you order from their website.

There are also two sets that include a limited edition rolled poster. Plus Scream Factory teamed up with Gutter Garbs to create an official “Army of Darkness” enamel pin set that is limited to 1,000 units. This set will include 5 hard enamel pins measuring 1.5” to 2” high. A backer card, which measures approximately 6” x 5” and is housed in a custom keepsake box. All of the art is done by Matthew Skiff.

Collectors will have the option of either a standard edition or the steelbook version. Aside from the changes in discs, the poster art will also be different. The standard collector’s edition will have an 18” x 24” poster of the film’s theatrical artwork. The steelbook version’s poster will be a limited edition 28.5″ x 16.5” of the newly designed steelbook artwork from artist Devon Whitehead. Per SHOUT! Factory’s website, all posters will be rolled and shipped in a poster tube.

The “Army of Darkness” 4K sets are available for pre-order from Shout Factory now, and are expected to start shipping September 27th, 2022.
