    New “Ghostbusters” Animated Series Coming to Netflix

    Happy Ghostbusters Day! The news has already kicked off today with a pretty big reveal. Netflix is apparently working on an animated series based on “Ghostbusters!” Chances are this will be revealed more fully during Geeked Week Day 3, which focuses on animation.

    Reportedly,  “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” co-writer and director Jason Reitman will be developing this animated series along with Gil Kenan (Ghost Corps). It’ll come from Sony Pictures Animation. Reitman and Kenan will executive produce.

    A 5th live-action film is currently in the works, with Reitman returning to direct.
