Even if you don’t recognize Jordan’s name, you’ve seen her face.
We are very sorry to share the news that legendary punk rock icon Jordan has passed away. Jordan, who’s legal name was Pamela Rooke, was the literal poster girl for much of the UK movement during the early days of the Sex Pistols. She worked closely with Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, and was never far from where the action was.
Rooke’s family confirmed her passing, after a battle with cancer. She was 66.
Just this morning, the first trailer (teaser, really at only 30 seconds) for Danny Boyle‘s upcoming “Pistol” mini series for FX featuring “Game of Thrones” star Maisie Williams as Jordan was released.
