Fans of DC Comics heroes the Wonder-Twins will be happy to know that Warner Bros is working on a live-action film for the duo. They’ve hired Adam Sztykiel, who worked on “Black Adam,” to write and direct an original feature meant for HBO Max.
Producing are Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill. Their previous producing credits include things like “The Twilight Saga.” The project is going to be aptly named “Wonder Twins.”
If you’re not familiar with the Wonder Twins, the story follows a pair of other worldly siblings who have powers to transform. Zan and Jayna were first introduced to television via Hanna-Barbera’s “The All-New Super Friends Hour.” In 2019, DC Comics even gave the Twins their own comic title.
As for their powers, they’re a bit odd. Jayna could transform into any animal, while Zan could turn into any iteration of water. His was far weirder but hey, water is life right? Their father was a friend of Superman and he sent the twins to live on Earth from Exxor with the Justice League for unknown reasons.
This story is developing. We’ll let you know when we have more information. Until then, stay tuned!
