Ok want to know the coolest thing ever? There is a Meow Meow temple in Kyoto, Japan and it’s FULL OF CATS! Not just any cats- cats dressed as monks! They are the friendliest felines you’ve ever met. Thanks to Nekojizo on Instagram, we have some really cool images of the “head priest” named Koyuki.

“This temple was opened by painter Toru Kaya with the theme of this favorite cat.” He designed the temple Nyan Nyan Ji around Koyuki the white cat! Koyuki serves as the temple priest.

The temple features many pieces of art of cats including paintings and sculptures. Additionally you can buy souvenirs from the temple shop “Littlefootmark Ren.”

The temple was built in 2016 and draws in cat lovers from all over. Koyuki may be the most famous but he’s not the only cat there. Multiple generations of cats live there ready to bask in adoration.
