5 Ways To Make Some Cash Out Of The Internet

The internet offers users an almost endless number of options for generating extra income, whether you want to get paid for doing things you already do for free, or whether you want to go all-out and create a career online.

To help you pick the right patch for you, here are just a few ways to earn money via the web without having to jump through too many hoops.

Play games which pay for your participation

Gaming is a hugely popular hobby, yet what many people don’t realize is that there are actually games that pay you to play them, rather than the other way around.

In particular there are mobile games available from services like App Cent and AppLike that provide cash payouts to people who download and play titles, with the revenue being generated from in-app advertising.

There are also sites like Bananatic which let you play-test games and earn points which can be converted into tangible rewards for your input.

    Complete surveys online for cash

Being paid to fill out surveys is one of the simplest and least stressful options for making money from the internet, and as you might expect there are plenty of places to go about this, including Survey Junkie and Toluna.

The concept is straightforward; you can fill in your personal details and then get matched to surveys that are relevant to your interests. You will usually be paid per survey you complete, and fees vary depending on the length and complexity of each.

Participate in product & service testing

Similar to paid surveys, there are services like UserTesting which are designed to allow consumers to provide feedback and input on a range of issues, and get cash in exchange for their time.

From reviewing the usability of websites to giving feedback on software and branded apps, you can accumulate a decent amount of cash quite quickly, if you are committed and meet the criteria.

Sell your services as a freelancer

The most flexible and potentially profitable option for anyone who wants to make some cash out of the internet is to go all-in on becoming a remote working freelancer.

The good news is that while finding clients for your fledgling business in the past would have been difficult, it is far easier today thanks to platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.

Whether you are skilled in graphic design, copywriting, composing or anything else for that matter, you will find that it is easier than ever to sell your skills to those who need them online.

    Declutter your home

The internet is an amazing place to sell your possessions that you no longer need, and while eBay was the first port of call for this for many years, the rise of second hand marketplace apps and social media has helped to make it even more competitive.

Arguably the most convenient option is to use Facebook Marketplace to post local listings for your goods and arrange for collection by the buyers that get in touch.
