As the fourth game in this series, many already know and love the characters and game mechanics. But with this title seeing a vast number of players in steam, there is reason to suggest that this game could be the next big thing in the gaming industry.

    What Is Counter-Strike Global Offence?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a multiplayer game that was developed by Valve and Hidden Path entertainment. This is the fourth game is a series and is available across platforms. With two teams against each other, both tasks are given the mission to eliminate the other whilst completing their own individual set of tasks. There are nine game modes in total each of which have their own set of characteristics. Many Valve servers allow for members to create their maps and game mode. These can then be played across PC and Consoles on cross-platform.

    What Makes It So Interesting

What makes this game so interesting is the opportunity to play through multiple game modes. This makes it far more interesting than other games such as Apex and other leading titles such as Fortnite. Though this is the fourth game in the series, the multiple game modes are aiding in making this game one of the most popular ones in the series. As more and more people are discovering the potential that this game has to offer. In addition to this, several sporting events are surrounding this game as the e-sports community begins to see several matchups. With people betting in SBO.net and other sites on the team they think are likely to win, this is the perfect time for this growing industry.

    Record-Breaking Steam Performance

As more and more people begin to play this game with their friends’ cross-platform, there have been viewership numbers and games on platforms such as Steam that have begun to rise. This growing title has seen a record-breaking number of players this last week with over 1 million concurrent players on Steam at one time. This is a player increase of over 580,000 and shows a promising future for the game and the next instalment in the series. If these record-breaking figures continue, we could see this game become as popular as other titles such as Call of Duty, Overwatch and Destiny. This is promising for fans of the game as we are set to see more and more changes made to game modes and other in-game options. This is set to see a bright future for the game and will also see more people hopping online to play.

    The Future Of The Title

Though the future of the title and any potential updates remains unclear, the increased number of concurrent players is a positive sign. As this becomes more popular than ever before, this is a promising sign for developers of this leading title as more people will be able to enjoy their handy work and even suggest new ways of making the game better for the community.

With this in mind, there are several reasons why this game has begun to increase in popularity, allowing many to enjoy a first-person shooter with a twist. Will you be playing this growing title in 2020?
