We’ve known for a while that the Ghibli theme park was coming and that they were eyeing an opening date for 2022. What we didn’t know was when. They’ve announced that they will be opening in the Fall of that year and fans of Ghibli films will finally be able to plan that long awaited trip.
Located in the Aichi Expo Commemorative Park in Nagakute City, Japan the park is said to have five lands pertaining to the films. They released an overview image of what the park will look like which you can see down below.
Ghibli’s Giant Warehouse in purple, Dondoko Forest in green, Witch Valley in red, Princess Mononoke Village in green, and Springtime of Life Hill in orange.
