Washington FNL Team Now Called Washington Football Team

The football team formerly known as the Washington Redskins announced a while back that they would be talking about changing their names. What did they come up with? The Washington Football Team.

Now you could call them the team formerly known as the Redskins. Kind of like a Prince thing since he was “The artist formerly known as Prince”. But I feel like the name they picked is really kind of funny to be an official names. What they could have done was call themselves the “Continentals” but hey, I wasn’t in that meeting.

Luckily it’s only temporary but we’ll see what they come up with. I’m sure they are going to have a ton of suggestions!
