Nine Inch Nails Offers Cancelled 2020 Tour Shirt Sale for Charity

If you haven’t had the chance to catch Nine Inch Nails live in the last few years, you are seriously missing out. Oscar winner Trent Reznor and company have completely and utterly kicked ass on the last two tours the band has embarked on, 2018’s Cold And Black And Infinite was something I’ll remember forever.

The more-than-industrial rock band was set to embark on yet another tour in 2020, but, as with pretty much every other live event (including Burning Man, Wasteland Weekend, and all the other tours we wanted to see), that tour has been cancelled.

NIN being the thoughtful folk they are have a way to make fans feel a little less sad about missing the shows this fall, with a special sale.

On the official Nine Inch Nails website, fans have the option to purchase an official 2020 tour shirt. The back of which has a list of what cities and dates the shows would’ve happened in and on.

The kicker here is that the money from these sales goes to benefit food banks in the markets where they would’ve played.

You can order both men’s and women’s options on the official NIN website here.

Reznor himself announced this special offer on the band’s official Instagram.

We’re still pretty sad that this year’s Rock n Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony has been cancelled, because NIN was going to be inducted alongside Depeche Mode.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
