D&D is a game where you get to use your imagination as you move through the obstacles and scenery the Dungeon Master sets up for you. It’s a game that can be very long and usually you play with a bunch of close friends. And when you think about it who could be closer than the cast of the Avengers movies. Tom Holland was asked by IGN at the premiere for his new film Onward if he had ever played D&D. And though he hadn’t he’s very interested in setting up a game.
“Chirs (Pratt) and I have been talking about setting up an Avengers D&D session,” Holland said to IGN. “Which would be amazing. We actually want to film it because it would be really fun.” But don’t get too excited because he also said that if it ever happened it wouldn’t be live streamed. He said that would be too stressful. Which makes sense because he said himself that he had never played before. So a lot of the game would probably have to do with learning and explanations. At least until they got their footing.
It would be neat to see them bring in their personas and characters to the game instead of the more traditional classes. Imagine Spidey trying to shoot webs to capture the villain and then rolling a one.
Hopefully this isn’t just talk and they will get the chance to play a game together. Who would you want to see as Dungeon Master? Our vote goes to Robert Downey Jr. or Samuel L. Jackson.
