‘Stranger Things 4’ Reportedly Getting Higher Episode Count

Ready to find out what’s next for the kids of Hawkins? I know a lot of us are waiting patiently for the fourth season to grace us with its presence. But while we wait there have luckily been some rumors going around that this coming season will have more than just the standard 8 episodes. The rumors also say that more than likely we will be getting a season 5 so it’s possible they will be building up to another big cliffhanger.

TV Line’s “Ask Ausiello” where TV fans get to ask questions about shows one fan asked,

Any New Intel on Stranger Things? To which Ausiello said, “There’s chatter that Season 4 may actually consist of nine episodes, one more than initially planned. That would make Stranger Things 4 one the Netflix drama’s meatiest seasons ever (tied with its sophomore run). I’m also hearing that a fan-favorite character may have his/her origin story told in one (or more) of those nine episodes.”

So it looks like we may get a bonus episode! Which is great news because even though Netflix has episodes that are around an hour for some reason they never feel long enough.
